  • Vedanta Medical College, Palghar: 79 vacant seats under Institutional Quota.
  • Ashwini Rural Medical College, Solapur: 50 additional seats introduced in 2025.

  • Remaining 51 unfilled seats from previous rounds have also been included, totaling 451 seats.

MBBS Seat Matrix For Stray Vacancy Round 1

Category Seats
Total MBBS Seats 451
Institutional Quota (IQ) 221
Merit-based (Scholarship Eligible) 151
Vedanta Palghar (Example) 79
Ashwini Rural, Solapur (Added) +50
Malati Multispeciality, Murtizapur (New) 50

Cutoff Prediction: Among the 151 merit-based seats, 102 belong to male candidates and 49 to female candidates. Due to this distribution, the cutoff for male candidates may slightly decrease, while for female candidates it is expected to remain stable. Students looking for lower cutoff colleges should prioritize SSPM Medical College Sindhudurg, Malati Multispeciality Murtizapur, and Dr. Ulhas Patil Medical College Jalgaon during choice filling.

BDS Seat Matrix For Stray Vacancy Round 1

A total of 510 BDS seats remain vacant for the Maharashtra Stray Vacancy Round 1 of 2025. These include 29 Government seats, 414 Private seats, and approximately 70 under Institutional Quota (IQ). Since most BDS seats are merit-based and eligible for scholarships, the BDS cutoff is expected to drop in this round.

Category Seats
Total BDS Seats 510
Government Colleges 29
Private Colleges 414
Institutional Quota (IQ) 70
Merit-based (Scholarship Eligible) 443

Because the number of BDS seats and scholarship-eligible positions is high, the BDS cutoff is likely to fall considerably in this round.
