The Department of Medical Education, Madhya Pradesh released an official notice on 28th August 2025 regarding the addition of MBBS seats for the upcoming rounds of MP State Combined NEET UG Counselling 2025. This update is expected to benefit a large number of aspirants in the state.

Key Highlights of the Notification

  • The National Medical Commission (NMC) has approved 100 MBBS seats each in two new government medical colleges:
    • Government Medical College, Sheopur
    • Government Medical College, Singrauli
  • Out of these, 85 MBBS seats from each college will be included under the State Quota in Round 2 counselling.
  • The Delhi High Court has allowed Index Medical College, Indore to participate with its sanctioned intake. This adds 250 MBBS seats of Index Medical College into the counselling process.
  • In total, 450 new MBBS seats will be available for Round 2 of MP NEET UG 2025 counselling.
